Shipping Settings: SCAC Code Maintenance

Accessing the SCAC Code Maintenance Screen

• The SCAC Code Maintenancescreen is accessible through:
  • The Shipping Settings tab or
  • The Shipping Maintenance Menu.

Purpose of the SCAC Code Maintenance Screen
Initially designed for managing:

• Carrier SCAC Codes
• Rail SCAC Codes
• Precision Strip Approved Carriers (Carriers we broker to) paperwork

Now enhanced to include management of:

• Carrier Inbound Extranet Accounts
• Inbound Carrier Auto Appointments
• Approved Shipping Mills assigned to Carrier Extranet Accounts

Access Requirements
To access the SCAC Code Maintenance screen, you must:

1. Navigate to iGenesis/Shipping/Shipping Settings/SCAC Code Maintenance or the Shipping Maintenance tab.
2. Be a member of one of these Security Groups:
   • IT Staff
   • CSR
   • HQ Transport
   • Accounting Management

How to Request Access

• Ask your Supervisor to submit an iTrac ARF to add you to one of the required Security Groups.
