- It gets a list of all doors that are enabled and have Auto Assign turned on. IT is the only group that can turn AutoAssign on or off.
- The code will then eliminate any door from the list that doesn’t have any open spots for that size of a coil.
- It is then coded to pick the first door with the highest priority. (Kenton’s doors currently all have a priority of 0, so this won't matter until a higher priority number is assigned).
- If all doors have the same priority, the system will pick the one with the lowest number of trucks currently in line for that door.
- If there is a tie there, the system will use the door with the highest capacity for a single location for that size of coil.
The Group and Per Hour fields are used when scheduling appointments only. You can set multiple doors to the same group and then enter in the max loads per hour for that group of doors. So, if doors 3 and 4 and group 1 and you have a per hour of 2, then when each door has an appointment and the 3rd appointment tries to get assigned to either door 3 or 4, it will not allow it. If the group field is 0, then nothing happens. This has nothing to do with auto assign door assignments.
To currently make a dock PRSP only, have to turn off auto assign and then the Kiosk will direct the user to see dispatch.
IT Use Only:
This runs from program T0666
I think I figured out the Kenton issue with their doors only auto assigning to door 72. There are some extra Warehouse Grid Rules that are breaking the system.
Here is the rule that I think they mean to use for the coil that was the example in Fresh Desk Ticket# 46714
https://precision-strip.freshdesk.com/a/tickets/46714
Here is another rule that is almost exactly the same, but with no locations assigned to it:
This is causing problems because Kenton’s system assumes that their rules do not overlap. So when it sees this one, it checks to see if there is any capacity in any bay that matches up to those locations. Where there isn’t any old style of locations, it will just check the SmartGrab locations and there IS capacity there, but only in bay 7, so everything goes to bay 7. They should delete any duplicate records like that and then the system should work as expected. There are lots of duplicate rules.
Let me know if that makes sense.
Thanks!
