SCAC Code Maintenance: Inbound Carrier Auto Appointments

Inbound Auto Appointments are created to give carriers or mills that haul a large number of loads from specific mills a set number of appointments every day which they can view on their PSI Portal account. These appointments will also display in the iGenesis Inbound Appointments, Truck Arrivals and Truck Appointments screen.

Key Points:

Purpose: Streamlines scheduling by automatically assigning a set number of appointments for carriers and mills at certain dates and times on a weekly basis.

Benefits: Saves time for Inbound Schedulers by reducing manual appointment creation. Simplifies the process for carriers and mills, eliminating the need for them to log in the PSI Portal to schedule.

Setup: Appointments are organized by Carrier Account and Mill ID. For carriers hauling for multiple mills, appointments must be configured for each mill individually.
