The App Attr: Plant*OutboundApptLive causes this to happen with our Load Schedule, Kiosk and Scanner:
If the app attr Plant*OutboundApptLive is turned on for that plant (all plants but Anderson, Woodburn, Vonore, Middletown and Jeffersonville are turned on in live and test as of 8-14-24), the Arrive Load button turns into the Check In button.
If the App Attr is turned on: To Check In the load from the Load Schedule, kiosk or scanner, a load appointment must be scheduled and the load must be Checked In within the time allowance of Choice Field 644 (Trucker Checkin Limits for that plant).
If App Attr is turned on: If material handler generates an unarrived load in the scanner function 20, after generating the load, the user will not be asked if they would like to arrive the load because it would have to go through the Check In Procedures listed above.
If App Attr is turned on: the Kiosk will allow Outbound Loads to be checked in on the kiosk if the within Choice Field 644 constraints and if the Field Validation of a Dock is required or not.
If App Attr is turned off: The user can Arrive the Load in from the Load Schedule or Scanner without a scheduled load appointment.
If App Attr is turned off: If material handler generates an unarrived load in the scanner function 20, after generating the load, the user will be asked if they would like to arrive the load.
If App Attr is turned off: The Kiosk will not allow a driver to check in for an outbound load regardless of the kiosk program being used. It will only allow the user to check in for inbound loads on the kiosk. If the user tries to check in for an outbound load on the kiosk, it throws a message on the Kiosk "This Kiosk is only for Inbound Appointments Only. Please Go to the Shipping Office".
The App Attr: Plant*OutboundStage causes this to happen with our Load Schedule, Kiosk and Scanner:
I had Curtis dig into the code of the app attr Plant8OutboundStage. The only thing I found different is that when Plant8OutboundStage is turned on, it makes the user enter a scac code before you can schedule a load appointment or generate the load on the scanner. I am not sure if something is broke with this app attr or if this is all it does right now. I am guessing when the Plant8OutboundLive was created to make the Arrive Load button became a Check In button, a lot of this logic no longer applied.
I shipped 5 scenarios of the app attrs being turned on and off between Plant8OutboundStage and Plant8OutboundLive to have it set up like Tipp City. After I shipped the same load 5 times in test Talladega, I generated the Shipment History Report r0408 each time in test.
On the first 3 reports, I did not arrive the load in and shipped from the scanner and Load schedule using the app attrs turned on and off, there was never an Arrival Time Stamp added to the load when I generated it in the scanner or in the load schedule.
*I have to physically Check the load in or the driver has to arrive in on the kiosk the load to get the Arrival Time Stamp to appear on the Load Schedule and the Shipment History Report.*
I then went in and did the same thing for the last 2 reports; but I arrived the loads in about 5 to 15 minutes later in test kiosk8 after I generated the load in the scanner. I attached these 2 reports too.
Plant8OutboundStage is on & Plant8OutboundLive is on:
- Generated at 4:45pm on the scanner; but not arrived in on the kiosk until 4:58pm eastern on Load id# 8741416.
- I verified the load in the scanner under function 30 and then checked out on test kiosk8 that has the same settings as live kiosk8.
- *When I ran the report, it listed the actual arrival date and time and not the time the load was generated.*
Plant8OutboundStage is off & Plant8OutboundLive is on:
-Generated at 5:10pm on the scanner; but not arrived in on the kiosk until 5:20pm eastern on Load id# 8741416.
- I verified the load in the scanner under function 30 and then checked out from the iGenesis Load Schedule that has the same settings as live kiosk8.
- *When I ran the report, it listed the actual arrival date and time and not the time the load was generated.*
