Expired Insurance – A Refusal Message has Replaced the Override Message for Expired Carrier Insurance

•The Override Message in the iGenesis Load Schedule Details box has been replaced with a Hard Stop and Refusal Message. This message will populate in the Load Schedule and HQ Transport Loads Board.

•This change was requested by Transport HQ Management to reduce risk.

•Precision Strip cannot broker freight to carriers without current Cargo, Comprehensive, and Liability Insurance.

•If insurance is expired or expiring within 14 days, the system will block the SCAC Code.

What You Must Do if you Receive this Refusal Message:

• Contact Transport HQ to update the carrier’s insurance.

DO NOT:

•Change the expiration date

•Use a different SCAC Code

•Send the truck without approval

•Carrier documents are stored in the SCAC Code Maintenance screen.
