New Quality Procedure for Shipping Request Changes
When you update an existing shipping request—specifically the In Plant Date, In Plant Time, Date Code, or Requested Amount—you must do two things:
1. Add a note explaining the change.
2. Select a reason from the provided list for why the change was made.
This new process helps the company track and understand why shipping requests are being changed, so we can identify common issues and improve operations.
These 4 reports have been modified to account for these changes and allow Quality to document reasons
1. On Time Processing Report r0760: Menu Location: iGenesis/Reports/Shipping/On Time Processing Report
2. Geotab Truck Analysis Report r0937: Menu Location: iGenesis/Reports/Shipping/Geotab Truck Analysis Report
3. Ship Request Analysis Report r0959: Menu Location: iGenesis/Reports/Shipping/Ship Request Analysis
4. Shipment Request Report r0409: Menu Location: iGenesis/Reports/Shipping/Shipment Request-> Unfilled Requests (Honda Format 26) Please review corresponding slides to see actual enhancements to the reports.
