If you go to Genesis Green Bar -> Shipping tool bar -> Plant Shipping Hours screen w0304, you can control the Plant Shipping Hours on this screen. If you do not have the Plant Shipping Hours available during a specific time on any day of the week, when trying to schedule outbound load appointments in the load schedule, it will grey out those times and you can not add an outbound appointment during those times.
See below for an example; but I tried to schedule an outbound appt at Noon Saturday in Canton. I received a a warning stating Dock is closed or full at that time, select a different slot.
If you want to control the amount of outbound appointments per hour, on the Plant Shipping Hours screen, under the Functions tool bar, select the Set Appt Limits option.
This will open up screen Outbound Load Appts Available w0311. From this screen, you set the amount of outbound appointments per hour per day at the Canton Plant. Click on a cell, change the number and click on a different cell before Saving and Closing. See below for screen shot.
*Please note, this is not door specific and if you you are using a door or dock that does inbound and outbound, it will limit by number of outbound and inbound appointments combined per hour.
Security for Plant Shipping Hours screen w0304: HQ/Ops Leadership, plantSupervisor, IT Staff and Shipping. Any members of these groups can adjust the Plant Shipping Hours.
Security for Set Appt Limits screen w0311: HQ/Ops Leadership, IT Staff and Shipping. Any members of these groups can adjust the Plant Shipping Hours.
