I just confirmed this with the developer.
This does not change at the start of arrival or anything like that, it is just a calculation made at the time of load creation that calculates from the load time, travel time and time zone you are at and delivering to make on time delivery at the user id for the earliest due shipping request assigned to the load.
This is an older program that used to be use prior to Ship Date and Ship Times program being implemented and entered in the Load Schedule and List View. (Remember, in this program, once the Load Appointment is scheduled, The Appointment Date and Time also auto populates in the Ship Date and Ship Time.
The Start Date/Time means Destination Start Time: it is the latest time you can start loading this load at your facility to accommodate for the Load Time stored on the ship to id (customer id stored in the customer maintenance screen at that plant) for this load.
The End Date/Time means the time at the user id you are delivering to for the latest you can leave your facility on their time zone and make it to the end user and not be late factoring in the travel time stored in the customer maintenance for this user id from your plant. This is strictly calculated from the Date Code, based on In Plant Time or the time the facility closes.
For example, in user id# 17711 West Point, GA:
It is in Eastern Time Zone
Load Time Listed in Customer Maintenance is 45 minutes.
Travel Time Time Listed in Customer Maintenance is 105 minutes.
Receiving Hours listed in Customer Maintenance are M-F 0700-1730 eastern time.
Because of the calculations and having a Flex Date Code, the In Plant Time on the Shipping Request is always going to default to the closing time on the In Plant Date entered on the earliest Shipping Request due applied to the load. This only calculates at the time of load creation and does not change with Date and Time Changes.
Since the closing time is 5:30pm eastern:
Start Date/Time: is always 2pm of the date it is due (this means you must start loading this load by 2pm central time at your facility to accommodate for the 45 minute load time and not be late).
End Date/Time: is always 3:45pm of the date is due (this means you must leave loaded by the end user time of 3:45pm in order to accommodate the 105 minute travel time and not be late).
In this situation, the End Date/Time is 3:45pm eastern time since Hyundai West Point, GA facility is in the eastern time zone and an hour ahead of the Talladega lant that is on the central time zone.
