Kiosk: Complete Self Checkout Process with all screen shots. TIWO# 89526 implemented 6-26-24 to make drivers manually enter the Load ID when checking out and not scan a tag.

Some plants are having the drivers self checkout their loads. If you do this, you must make sure that you communicate the correct shipping paperwork the driver must have so that they do not leave with tags or ship on picklist or check in sheets.

The driver can do self checkout on Kiosk program w0361.

This TIWO will take care of a Corrective Action for Andy Burden.

Issue:

Andy Burden contacted me advising they had 2 loads get switched around because the drivers grabbed the wrong tags, scanned the inventory tag to the Check Load Tag scanner at the kiosk and the tag pulled up the load id the inv id number was assigned to.

Resolution:

In Kiosk Program w0361, Quality is asking that we do not allow the driver to select the Check Out button on the Kiosk and then scan an Inventory ID tag to pull up the Load ID to perform the Check Load Tag scan completed at the kiosk or in the shipping office by the shipping clerk. They want the driver to have to manually enter the correct load id when checking out on the Kiosk.
