Kiosk: Refusal Messages & Messages for Correct Check In

Modified on Tue, 14 May at 1:32 PM

Check In and Check Out Refusals.

Kiosk: Hard Stop on Late Loads that sends driver to the Shipping Office:

(works the same for Checkout Programs ran from programs w0340 or w0361)

For the Date Codes, FL, IP or DAY, if a Load is late and driver is trying to do self checkout, there will be a Hard Stop message at the Kiosk advising the driver that the Load is Late and to go to the Shipping Office.

If it is a PU Date code and the load is late, the Hard Stop message on the Kiosk will not pop up and allow the driver to self checkout. I advised to not use the PU Date Code because it means it is a customer pick up.

Checking IN with Incorrect Carrier or Destination City:

If you select the incorrect carrier and city and will not get a hard stop. Instead, it will check the truck in and create an EZ Pass Check IN Sheet listing the correct information pertaining to that load id on the top of the sheet in the middle of the EZ Pass, there is a Bold Message that states: Attn PSI Dispatch:

Driver selected Incorrect City: and then lists the City the driver selected.

Driver Selected Incorrect Scac Code: and then lists the SCAC code and carrier name the driver chose.

Checking Out a late load or entering incorrect information:

You will receive a hard stop on the Kiosk advising the Load was late and to go to the Shipping Office. The driver will not receive paperwork.

During the Checkout process on the Kiosk, if the driver enters the incorrect information (scanned wrong tag or chooses the incorrect city), a hard stop will be put on the Check Out process on the Kiosk and tells the driver to go to the shipping office. If the driver tries to check out again, the message will continue to pop up. Prior to this release, the driver could just reset the process until they selected the correct information. In addition to this, when the driver selects the wrong information during the check out process, an email alert (alert id# 229) will alert associates in to the plant specific Kiosk Alert Group that a carrier is attempting to check out with incorrect information. This alert should signal to PSI associates to find the driver so that they can stop the driver from leaving without the bills or going to the incorrect city.

During the Checkout Process, if an alert email is fired for a driver entering the wrong check out information, PSI Associates can check to see if the email was actually sent and can see who all receives the alert.

Checking in with correct information:

If I check in Correctly by entering the correct information, you will get an actual Outbound Load Sheet printout with the correct information on it and the Picklist.
